KNIFE OF PEACE

The Knife's line la inspired from cutlasses with long blade from the XVIII th Century called " Kard ". It's origine la Arabic and Persic. The total length varied from 20 cm to 45 cm. The aim la to use a dagger with a warrior hitory in order to transmit a message full of peace and sweetness.

In the middle of the blace the word " Peace " is writing in four different languages French, Hebrew, English, Arablan. Upon the back of the blade and upon the handle various word " Peace " in French are inscribed.

The handel is made of two scales in fossil ivory of mammoth. 1 asked my friend Serge Raoux to grave cri each scale of the handle, a calligramm inspired from the works of an Irakean Salah Moussawy born in AI?Nagaf in 1950). The finit one means " Spread Peace this is one God's name ". the second one is " love and fratemity are Peace's fruits ".

The display on which lay the knive la forged in form of calligramm taking again the theme of " love triumphs over evil ". On the sharp of the blade a pleure as fine as lace, represents the wood panels of the Koranics Schools called " Moucharabieh ". In the meeting of the blade and the handle, a meteoritic iron ring remind of the unlimited universe, like a oelestial message 1

This knife during R's warrior time, was used to kill people, let's hope that nowadays, we would use it to reconcil people, to cut bread and to share it.
